Non-silicated, Near-neutral Cleaner with Short-term Corrosion Protection
CLEAN IP 5769 is a mild alkaline, highly-concentrated liquid parts washing compound/corrosion inhibitor for use in spray washers. This product is safe and effective on aluminum or steel alloy parts, as well as cast iron. CLEAN IP 5769 provides good detergency through its unique organic surfactants package for the removal of coolants, straight oils, corrosion inhibitors, and all types of metalworking fluids.

    E-CLPS® 1980
    High-performance Environmentally-friendly Final Seal
    E-CLPS® 1980 is a liquid chrome-free, nonphosphated pretreatment chemical used to form a paint bonding and corrosion-resistant surface treatment on zinc, aluminum, magnesium, ferrous, and cuprous alloy surfaces. E-CLPS® 1980 may be applied by spray or immersion and is used as a final seal over iron and zinc phosphates (for higher salt spray performance) or as a stand-alone pretreatment (without phosphate) for general applications. E-CLPS® 1980 is a nonhazardous material which reduces or eliminates workplace hazards and is free of heavy metals, toxic organics and it has no V.O.C. content.

E-CLPS 1700 is considered a non- hazardous material both as a concentrate and as a working bath.

      Concentrated Low Temperature Spray Cleaner
      CLEAN IP 5895 is a heavy duty liquid alkaline cleaner for use on multi-metal substrates. It is most often used in high pressure spray applications and it is an excellent performer in single stage cleaning operations.

        Clear Anti-weld, Extreme-pressure Oil Additive
        TRIM® OCA is a clear oil additive containing chlorinated paraffins. OCA has outstanding anti-welding and extreme pressure properties at moderate to heavy speeds and loads. Some significant uses of OCA include:
      • Good lubricity properties in addition to anti-weld
      • Used with great success to extend the life of taps and form tools in screw machining operations
      • Particularly effective on ferrous metals and aluminum
      • Compatible with all TRIM® straight oils, TRIM® TAP LIGHT, and TRIM® TAP HEAVY


        • For additions to straight cutting oils in screw machine operations, a starting rate of 5% is recommended
        • For very heavy-duty tasks, such as threading hard stainless or alloy steels, try starting at up to 15%
        • An effective booster additive for recycling straight cutting oil at an add rate of 1%-3%
        • There is no maximum rate; OCA can be used neat for tasks such as high-speed tapping


        TRIM® OSA
        High-lubricity, Clear Sulfur Oil Additive
        TRIM® OSA is a clear oil additive containing inactive sulfur. TRIM OSA has outstanding lubricity in all circumstances and provides extreme pressure anti-weld at high speeds and loads. Some significant uses of TRIM OSA include:

        • As an additive to straight grinding oils, will reduce heat, misting, and allow increased feed rates in creepfeed applications.
        • Has been used with great success to extend the life of thread-forming taps and thread-rolling dies.
        • In Swiss-type screw machines using solid carbide bushings, dramatically increases bushing life.
        • Compatible with all TRIM® straight oils, and TRIM® TAP LIGHT, TRIM® TAP HEAVY, and TRIM® TAP NC.

          TRIM® TC 248 is an amine-based pH adjuster used to replenish depleted alkalinity in metalworking fluid working solutions.

          • TC 248 is usually added at concentrations between 0.05% - 0.25% (50 – 2,500 ppm) to help maintain pH, improve corrosion inhibition, and improve emulsion stability. A 0.1% add of TRIM TC 248 will typically increase the pH of a 7.0 pH fluid to approximately 8.0 - 8.5.
          • Overuse of this product may cause ammonia and/or amine blush; therefore, care should be taken not to exceed recommended add rates.

CLEAN IP 2026PF provides good detergency and long life for the removal of coolants, straight oils, corrosion inhibitors, and all types of metalworking fluids. CLEAN IP 2026PF has been found to be highly useful in the diverse and difficult cleaning applications found within engine and transmission remanufacturing operations.

                              TRIM® VX is a soluble oil (chemical emulsion) coolant designed to do the heaviest duty machining operations. VX is often used as a replacement for straight cutting and grinding oils. It contains very high levels of EP additives including stable chlorine and sulfur. Additional friction modifiers, including sulfurized fats and particle size modification technology, are used to reduce the mechanical friction seen in many heavy-duty machining and grinding operations.

                              • Even with all these EP additives and friction modifiers, VX will not stain “white and yellow” metals

                              High-lubricity Semisynthetic
                              TRIM® EP is a low oil, high-performance semichemical or semisynthetic product. While EP contains limited amounts of petroleum oil, it is a fully loaded semi using synthetic fats for wetting and lubricity, chlorine, and sulfur EP additives for BUE control. While EP is most often used in heavy-duty production band sawing and drilling operations, it has found extensive use in the production grinding of hardened steel and stainless steel parts.

                              • Has the mechanical lubricity necessary to provide protection to blade handling systems on high performance band sawing machines as well as the cooling and antiweld additives to optimize blade life

This product will perform well in centerless and cylindrical form grinding as well as on high-speed, single point turning, and down-the-hole work on vertical and horizontal machining centers.

                                TRIM® TC 175
                                Chlorinated Lubricity Additive
                                TRIM® TC 175 is a chlorinated EP (extreme pressure) lubrication/emulsifier additive package. It may be added to water-soluble coolant systems to replace or increase the presence of the chlorine EP additives in the system.

                                • New, easier to mix formulation!
                                • New, chlorine EP additives stay in systems longer!
                                • This product should be premixed and then added directly to the working solution.
                                • Depending on the situation, add rates of between 1%-5% (10,000 ppm–50,000 ppm) are common.
                                • TC 175 may be used “neat” as a water-washable tapping compound for aluminum.
                                • TC 175 will provide both EP anti-weld lubrication and dynamic lubrication to improve machining performance.
                                • The addition of TC 175 may result in increased foam and may cause clear products to become somewhat cloudy.


                                TRIM® TC 155
                                Nonferrous Corrosion Inhibitor
                                TRIM® TC 155 is a nonferrous corrosion inhibitor for use in water soluble and straight oil systems. It is particularly effective in preventing staining and white rust on die cast alloys containing copper.



                                  TRIM® TC 204
                                  Blue Dye
                                  TRIM® TC 204 is a water-soluble blue dye. The product is used tank side to replenish depleted dye in water-soluble products or to color undyed products.



                                    TRIM® TC 227
                                    Lubricity Additive
                                    TRIM® TC 227 is a mixture of lubricity additives. It is designed to increase the hydrodynamic lubrication of water-miscible cutting and grinding fluids. It is particularly effective in increasing tool life and reducing the forces generated in drilling, tapping, and reaming operations in soft, gummy materials. TC 227 has also been effective as an add to chemical coolants used for roll-form tapping in wrought and extruded aluminum alloys.

                                    • TC 227 is intended for use in water-miscible cutting and grinding fluids.
                                    • TC 227 may not be effective in “cationic fluids”.
                                    • The typical add for this type of product is between 0.5%-5% (5,000-50,000 PPM). However, it is best to establish the actual add rate by experimentation in your operations.
                                    • While most of the experimental work with this product has been done in machining, there are indications that it may be very effective in some form-grinding operations.
                                    • TC 227 may cause increased foam.
                                    • TC 227 will be depleted with normal coolant carry-off, so periodic additions with the normal coolant makeup will be necessary to ensure consistent performance.


                                    TRIM® TC 220
                                    pH Adjuster
                                    TRIM® TC 220 is a triazine compound that is very effective in maintaining pH and building reserve alkalinity in metalworking fluid working solutions. Controlling pH within the design range of the product and maintaining an appropriate level of reserve alkalinity are key elements in extending sump life, controlling both liquid and vapor phase corrosion, and controlling the particle size and emulsion stability of soluble oils.



                                      TRIM® TC 233
                                      Lubricity Additive
                                      TRIM® TC 233 is a dual-purpose additive which is used in synthetic (e.g., TRIM® C270, C275, etc.) and some semisynthetic (e.g., TRIM® SC230, SC235, etc.) coolants. It can increase lubricity for operations such as drilling or tapping. At fluid temperatures above 95ºF (35ºC), it will act as an anti-foam.

                                      • In synthetic and semisynthetic coolants, add rates of 1%-3% may be effective in reducing friction in operations such as drilling or tapping
                                      • If fluid temperature is above 95ºF (35ºC), TC 233 will act as an anti-foam. The add rate for use as an anti-foam is 0.1%-0.5
                                      • Typical running time between additions of TC 233 is two to four weeks.


                                      TRIM® TC 231
                                      Cleanliness Additive
                                      TRIM® TC 231 will prevent or reduce the formation of carbon (graphite) smut and hard-water soaps often found when machining some cast irons with synthetic coolants. TC 231 is a unique blend of wetting agents and surfactants that help keep the machine, tools, and work piece clean for a safer, more pleasant work environment.

                                      • TC 231 is intended for use in TRIM® synthetic cutting and grinding fluids.
                                      • TC 231 is typically added at rates between 0.01% - 0.1% (100 - 1,000 PPM). Actual add rates are best established through on-site testing.
                                      • TC 231 may increase the tendency of the working solution to foam.
                                      • TC 231 will be depleted with normal coolant carryoff so periodic additions with the normal coolant make-up will be necessary to insure consistent performance.
                                      • TC 231 may increase refractive index reading.


                                      TRIM® TC 234
                                      Recycling Additive
                                      TRIM® TC 234 is a mixture of chemicals to replace the materials that may be preferentially depleted in some (cationic) synthetic and semisynthetic products. Some of these products have such low carryoff that normal make-up will not replace all of the materials which are depleted over long periods of use. When TC 234 is used as part of a comprehensive recycling or coolant management program, it will replace and/or enhance both the ferrous and nonferrous corrosion inhibition systems of coolant working solutions.



                                        TRIM® TC 239
                                        Paintable Antifoam/Defoamer
                                        TRIM® TC 239 is a paintable, platable additive used to control foam in metalworking fluids and parts washing systems.

                                          • The maximum add rate is one gallon per thousand gallons of sump volume. You may find that using less than this will be effective in your system. • For best results, premix TC 239 with working solution until it is water-thin. This mixture should then be added just up-stream from the foam.
                                        • Spraying premixed TC 239 directly onto the foam will knock it down quickly.
                                        • Using too much TC 239 can cause increased foam and/or form a residue on the machine, parts, or tools.
                                        • Shake or stir well before adding. If you make a dilution with working solution, shake or stir that mixture also before adding.
                                        • Do not freeze or store above 115ºF.


                                        TRIM® OD 250
                                        Straight Oil
                                        TRIM® OD 250 is a low-odor, light-colored oil designed for operations where low viscosity and high lubricity are required. In addition to general machining, OD 250 is particularly effective in deep-hole drilling and creepfeed grinding where its ability to flow into the cutting zone and “wet” the surfaces increases tool life and reduces heat. OD 250 is also an excellent choice for carbide, quartz, and ceramic grinding operations.

                                          TRIM® TC 184B is a nonsilicone antifoam or defoamer. It is used as a tank-side add to control foam in water-miscible coolants, washing compounds, floor soaps, etc.



                                            CLEAN 2023 “Big Al”
                                            Washing Fluid for Aluminum and Multi-Metal Parts
                                            CLEAN 2023 “Big Al” is a highly-concentrated liquid, parts-washing compound/corrosion inhibitor for use in spray washers. This product is safe and effective on aluminum alloy and steel alloy parts, as well as cast iron. CLEAN 2023 “Big Al” provides good detergency and long life for the removal of coolants, straight oils, corrosion inhibitors, and all types of metalworking fluids.

                                            • Inhibits darkening or smutting of aluminum alloys even at elevated temperatures
                                            • Excellent choice for two- or three-stage spray washers and can be used for washing steel, stainless, cast iron, titanium, and aluminum alloys
                                            • Provides long bath life
                                            • Environmental approvals are simplified because CLEAN 2023 “Big Al” contains no nitrites, barium, phenols, or butyl cellosolve; this formula has very low V.O.C. content and no SARA 313 reportable ingredients
                                            • Low foaming for use in high-pressure spray washers above 120°F
                                            • Typically provides up to one week in-process corrosion inhibition on ferrous parts if not rinsed


                                            CLEAN 2029 “One Step”
                                            Parts Washing Fluid with Corrosion Inhibitor
                                            CLEAN 2029 “One Step” is a highly concentrated cleaner/corrosion inhibitor designed for spray washers and immersion tanks. This product will remove heavy soils and provide two-to-four weeks of indoor corrosion inhibition on steel and cast iron parts.

                                            • Formulated without silicates or other high pH additives, CLEAN 2029 “One Step” is compatible with ultrafiltration systems and bioremediation
                                            • An excellent choice for cabinet-style spray washers and can be used for washing steel, stainless, cast iron, titanium, and many aluminum alloys
                                            • Hard water tolerant, it provides long bath life
                                            • Environmental approvals are simplified because CLEAN 2029 “One Step” contains no nitrites, barium, phenols, or butyl cellusolve; this formula has very low VOC content and no SARA 313 reportable ingredients

                                            CLEAN B1
                                            Booster for High-performance Spray Cleaning
                                            CLEAN B1 is a highly concentrated blend of surfactants (surface-active agents) designed to add cleaning power to high-pressure spray washers without causing excessive foaming. The product may be added to a wide range of Master STAGES™ alkaline cleaners to boost cleaning power.

                                            • CLEAN B1 contains no borates, phosphates, nitrites, or amines
                                            • CLEAN B1 is low foaming when used above 115°F
                                            • This product is an excellent choice where both ferrous and/or copper alloy parts are being processed
                                            • CLEAN B1 will not stain aluminum parts
                                            • CLEAN B1 is odorless
                                            • Highly caustic cleaners often produce “soaps” as a part of their cleaning action; CLEAN B1 is very effective at reducing foam resulting from the formation of these soaps
                                            • Cleaner bath life can often be extended by using small doses of CLEAN B1; this product is particularly effective in removing oily soils, but will not affect the “split” of oils in CLEAN 2430.

                                            Skramex™ is a super concentrated, high-powered cleaner designed for factory floor cleaning and heavy maintenance cleaning, particularly in metalworking or rebuild shops and mills. This product is highly caustic and capable of emulsifying even the most difficult floor soils such as those used in machining, drawing, stamping, foundries, and mills. Skramex is specially formulated without “butyl” to eliminate government reporting requirements.

This product is particularly effective in situations where reactive alloying agents like lead (Pb) are present.

                                                        Butyl-free, Phosphate-free Floor & Multi-purpose Cleaner/Degreaser
                                                        SkidRid™ is a highly concentrated cleaner built for multiple uses including floor cleaning and general degreasing. In addition to automatic floor scrubbers, it does a great job in general purpose cleaning, mop bucket cleaning, and parts washing in room-temperature wash tanks. SkidRid is completely free of 2-butoxyethanol (Butyl) and is not reportable under SARA section 313.

                                                        • Specially formulated to lift off stubborn tire marks – pre-application from a spray bottle followed by power floor scrubbing can often deal with the most difficult areas

                                                            CLEAN 2030 is a concentrated, very high-performance cleaner made for washing iron and steel parts and applying a short-term corrosion inhibitor in single-stage ultrasonic or immersion washers. Its cleaning ability is extraordinary which often leads to shorter cleaning cycles or elimination of cleaning steps. CLEAN 2030’s oil-rejecting properties mean longer bath life and economical operation. CLEAN 2030 can also wash most other metals including brass, copper alloy, aluminum, zinc, and magnesium.

                                                            Residue-free, Multi-metal Cleaner
                                                            CLEAN 3011 is a concentrated multi-purpose fluid that excels as a liquid parts washing compound or corrosion inhibitor and does not foam even at room temperature in high-pressure spray washers. It will remove light oils and water soluble cutting and grinding fluid residues and leave behind a thin rust inhibiting film for in-process corrosion inhibition of ferrous parts. CLEAN 3011 is also safe for use on aluminum alloy, copper, brass, bronze, and zinc. CLEAN 3011 is an excellent choice in cast iron operations where it can be used for cleaning and rust inhibition with excellent biostability.

                                                            • Silicate, phosphate, and boron free and leaves no powdery residue
                                                            • Low foaming for use in high-pressure spray washers or grinders and has excellent hard water stability
                                                            • Has a moderate pH, excellent anti-corrosion, and does not require rinsing, making it an excellent short term, in-process corrosion inhibitor
                                                            • This product maintains its alkalinity and biostability for long periods of time and will tolerate stagnant conditions such as leak test baths. It is also used in hydrostatic leak testing applications


                                                            NOCOR® E6
                                                            Low V.O.C. Emulsion Corrosion Inhibitor Concentrate
                                                            NOCOR® E6 is a super-concentrated, barium-free, water-based emulsion rust inhibitor that will protect steel, cast iron, and other ferrous parts from in-plant corrosion for up to six months. Parts coated with NOCOR E6 have a soft, almost invisible film that is easily removed using mild cleaners.

                                                            • Environmental approvals are simplified because NOCOR E6 is nitrite, barium, boron, phenol, and phosphate free
                                                            • NOCOR E6 is low foaming, for use in low-pressure spray washers and flow coating operations. Dip application is also a good way to apply this product
                                                            • An excellent choice where both ferrous and/or copper alloy parts are being processed
                                                            • NOCOR E6 has a moderate pH, is practically odorless, and it’s nonflammable for improved safety

                                                            CLEAN 2430
                                                            Near-neutral Washing Compound
                                                            CLEAN 2430 is a highly-concentrated, mild pH, liquid-parts washing compound/corrosion inhibitor made for aluminum alloy and steel alloy parts as well as cast iron, copper, brass, and bronze. This product does a great job in single and multi-stage spray washers providing great detergency and long life. CLEAN 2430 may be used in medium and high-pressure spray washers and provides in process corrosion inhibition when not rinsed.

                                                            • CLEAN 2430 provides state-of-the-art cleaning performance in a mild pH package
